The Large Folding Butterfly Net features a round aluminium frame which pivots in three places to fold down with the net bag attached. This allows for
easy transportation and storage. The frame is 20 inch / 50 cm in diameter providing a wide collection area for large insects. The frame is supplied
with a short brass handle.
Bags to fit the folding frame are available in either black or white. They feature a soft durable mesh to minimise the chance of damaging specimens.
Frames and nets are available seperately. When ordering please click on the frame and the net colour required.
Please note that the Large Folding Butterfly Net only comes with a short brass handle for general use (approx length of brass handle = 8cm). This can quickly be extended by inserting a stick or a piece of wood into the handle. Alternatively, two types of handle are available for use with the net;
