This volume presents the first global study of the well known Jurassic La Voulte Lagerstatte (Ardeche, France, ca 160 million years old). This Lagerstatte is remarkable for its unique preservation of soft-bodied organisms (worms, squids, octopi). The biodiversity comprises about 60 different species of which the major components are the arthropods (50% of the species), the cephalopods (10%) and the echinoderms (10%).
