About this book

Language: French

This new cantonal Red List, the result of collaboration between the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens of the City of Geneva (CJBG) and the Directorate General of Nature and Landscape of the State of Geneva (DGNP), completes the qualitative analysis of the flora of the canton that these two bodies have been working on together for years. Indeed, after the identification of vascular plants, their degree of threat, and the priority species and their habitats, it was the turn of the mosses to benefit from the same analysis. With this book, the authors dive into the infinitely small to observe lichens, organisms that are inconspicuous to the public, but fascinating once one bothers to get out a magnifying glass from one's pocket.
