This three volume series suggests that there is an overlooked food resource in sub-Saharan Africa: native food plants. There are more than 2,000 of these species ready for exploitation. All three books in the series are designed as tools for economic development, and are of particular interest to those concerned about food production, environmental health and economic opportunity in sub-Saharan Africa.
