When added to the BirdBase and BirdArea products, Mammal Data Add-On provides the facility to deal with all the world's mammal species in exactly the same way that it can deal with every bird species. The add-on contains comprehensive information about the range and nomenclature of each of the 4500+ species of mammals throughout the world, thereby enabling checklists to be made, with endemics highlighted, of the mammals of any of the hundreds of world areas featured in the program.
