Illustrated guide to 31 marine mammals (17 whales, 10 dolphins, 3 seals and 1 sea lion). All are known to be found in the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean adjacent to Baja California. Many are found in the Pacific Ocean from Northern Ecuador to British Columbia, Canada. Rare and endangered species are identified with a notation below each animal. Includes an illustration of the Vaquita, a small dolphin, which is only found in the Sea of Cortez. Each species is identified by their English, Spanish and Latin names.
