The 8x32 BL feature a new design of rubber armouring which provides better grip in all weather conditions. The central focus wheel is also fully rubber armoured to ensure ease of use and grip, even with gloves on. They are fully waterproof to a depth of 5m and Nitrogen purged to prevent internal fogging during quick temperature changes.

The fully multicoated optics and phase-corrected prisms give the user excellent image clarity and brightness even in our sometimes rather dreary weather conditions. Focusing down to less than 1.5m the Minox 8x32 BLs are great for watching butterflies and dragonflies, while just 11/4 turns of the focussing wheel gets you from close to infinity.

While making use of a lightweight polycarbonate body, which itself undergoes the same rigorous durability testing procedures of the top-end BR binoculars, the BLs still retain an all-metal eyepiece assemblies ensuring that the twist-up eyecups stay in place at all times but can be quickly and easily adjusted so anyone wearing spectacles still has a full field of view.
