About this book

Language: German

To ensure a high quality of nature-based tourism, a functioning quality management is important. To that end, the authors present these ten standards. They range from the protection of nature and landscape conservation, good architecture, spatial planning and development, to he supply of natural marketing and environmental education in tourism. These quality standards were developed with the involvement of experts from six Alpine countries and reviewed in case studies in five regions by a tour operator covering the whole Alps. As a result, there is a checklist for nature-based tourism in the Alps. This gives those responsible for destinations and regions a tool in their hands with which they can reflect on their own work and can continue to develop.
