A series that provides keys and descriptions of all plants growing spontaneously in North America, Central America and the West Indies (excluding those islands whose flora is essentially South American). Series I, published from 1909-1949, consisted of 94 parts, many of which are still available. Series II, initiated in 1954, is ongoing.
