In terms of user friendliness, the book is well organized and presented, with clear figures and tables. The index is comprehensive and the editors have included a very useful appendixa text of uniform quality in terms of style and readabilitycontains a wealth of data and interpretation, and should prove to be an important source of information - Marine Pollution Bulletin, Vol. 50, 2005
