Biography
Malcolm Ogilvie is a freelance naturalist and writer who worked for 25 years as a research scientist at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge in Gloucestershire. As well as being the author of several books on wildfowl and on other bird and natural history subjects, he is also editor of the journal BWP Update. His interest in wildfowl has involved much travel abroad including the Arctic. Steve Young is one of Britain's top bird photographers. He is photographic consultant of Birdwatch magazine and wrote and illustrated Birds on Film (Hobby Publications 1994). His latest book is An Essential Guide to Bird Photography (Guild of Master Craftsmen 2001).
