Plants for Primary Pupils: Reproduction and Life Cycles

This teachers' booklet and accompanying CD is the second in a series being developed to cover the work that must be undertaken with plants as part of the Primary Curriculum. The theme of reproduction and life cycles is divided into two parts. Part 1 introduces pupils to the basic parts of a flower and their function. It provides a range of activities (inside and outside the classroom), including dissection of a flower, ways of making simple models of flowers and card games that are fun but at the same time reinforce pupil learning and help them to be ready to move on to the next stage.
