About this book

Language: English

The author has made an extensive collection of pteridophytes of the entire Indian state of Tripura over the years and has here prepared an up-to-date, comprehensive and illustrated account of the rnorphology and anatomy of these plants, with the hope that it will create interest among students, teachers and researchers in this region and North-East India in general for further plant exploration and allied activities.

In addition to morphological and anatomical descriptions and illustrations, ecological and detailed distribution data with some phytogeographical notes relating to neighbouring states of each taxon have been recorded. Wherever possibe, ethno-medicinal importance of the species also been mentioned.
