Q3 Quadrat

Quadrats provide a simple but effective scientific method for the ecological surveying of vegetation or invertebrates in a wide range of habitats.  

The Q3 quadrat is made from heavy gauge steel wire with plastic coating to protect welds and make the quadrat highly visible. The 0.5m x 0.5m frame is subdivided into 100 squares for calculating percentage cover calculation or presence/absence recordings.
