These stylish Woodcrete nest boxes are designed to be placed on house and garage walls and balconies. They have a removable front panel for
inspection/cleaning and are available in green, brown and soft red. The Avianex boxes will fit easily to most walls and should be sited at a height of
1.5m - 5m.
The nest box has a 32mm entrance hole to attract common garden birds such as Coal-, Blue-, Marsh- and Crested Tits, Redstarts, Nuthatches, Pied Flycatchers, Wrynecks, House and Tree Sparrows, and possibly even bats.
These Woodcrete nest boxes are famous for their durability - lasting for at least 20-25 years. Woodcrete is a blend of wood, concrete and clay which will not rot, leak, crack or warp. They are backed by leading ornithologists, nature conservation organisations, government agencies and forestry experts. Schwegler boxes have the highest occupation rates of all nest boxes and are carefully designed to mimic natural nest sites and provide a stable environment for chick rearing and winter roosting.
