Biography

Lawson Wood is an award-winning underwater photographer and author. Well respected in international diving circles, he is the founder of the first marine nature reserve in his native Scotland and a founder member of the Marine Conservation Society. Lawson was also the first person to become a Fellow of both the Royal Photographic Society and British Institute of Professional Photographers solely for underwater photography. He is the author and photographer of a number of New Holland titles including The Dive Sites of the Bahamas and photographer of Reef Fishes, Corals and Invertebrates of the Caribbean.
