The SeeSnake Micro is usually found on building sites and in engineer's tool boxes, but, it should also be a field ecologists best friend! At almost 1m long the `obedient' endoscope can peer into bird nest boxes and bat boxes to check occupancy, you can look inside rotting tree trunks, down burrows and into bee/wasps nests. In addition, it's waterproof to over 3m so you can use this to look under riverbank margins, at pond life and into rockpools.
The 6cm colour LCD is great for sharing information with colleagues or to groups on field courses. The bright display is powered by 4AA batteries giving over 3 hours of run time. The tip of the SeeSnake is just 17mm diameter with two LED's providing adjustable lighting for the camera.
This robust unit comes with a lifetime warranty and was voted `Product of the Year 2007' by Plant Engineering Magazine. We think it's uses for wildlife professionals and enthusiasts are endless - providing a unique view of hard-to-reach animals in any setting.
