The publishing of the series Flora Briofítica Ibérica began in 1997. Participants include more than 20 bryologists who specialise in the floras of Spain and Portugal.
The aim of this six volume series is to cover all the bryophytic diversity of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain, Portugal, Andorra and the Balearic Islands). Volumes include classification, systematics, ecology, distribution, generic and specific descriptions, identification keys, and an extensive literature on each group.
