Animal Signals and Communication provides a wide coverage of animal communication research and ranges from signal production and perception in animals to behavioural aspects and population effects. It includes intra- and inter-specific communication, addresses the evolution of signals and communication systems and covers signals of all sensory modalities – visual, acoustic, chemical, tactile and electrical. Each volume summarises our current understanding of signals and communication in a particular context, this may be in a single taxonomic group of animals or as a topic of current interest across a wide range of taxa. Animal Signals and Communication is aimed at scientists, university teachers and graduate students.
Forthcoming volumes in this series will be added to this page as soon as we become aware of them.
