Australian Indigenous Orchids

Published in 1969, this was the first book to deal with all the Australian epiphytic and terrestrial species. It rapidly became the `bible' for all students of Australian orchids. This fully revised edition includes descriptions and drawings of 50 new species, changes in nomenclature and classification, and new records of exotic species. Many of the previous descriptions have been altered to include further details or to reflect advances in knowledge. In line with modern thinking, the author has adopted the classification proposed by Dressler and has re-arranged the text accordingly.
Published in 2 volumes, available individually or as a set.
