This important reference is published for the World Bank by OUP on an annual basis, providing a vast amount of data on social and economic development in over 120 countries. The report includes many statistical tables, basic information on over 50 economies with less than 1 million of population, case studies concentrating on a particular theme, and colour-coded world maps.
Published in a number language editions, the World Development Report
is an invaluable review of recent trends in the world economy.
