DELTA is a descriptive database applying flexible data-coding format for taxonomic descriptions. The system has been developed by the CSIRO Division of Entomology and is in use worldwide for diverse kinds of organisms. Also included is an associated set of MS-DOS programs for producing natural-language descriptions and keys, for interactive identification and information retrieval (INTKEY), and for conversion of the data to formats required for phylogenetic and phenetic analysis. Available on 3.5 or 5.25 disk. Please specify which disk you require. The primer and user's guides are also available separately.
