Photomicrographs of the Freshwater Algae

Series begun in 1984 and currently on-going. Each volume consists of coverage of 100 species, each with their own plate, in the loose-leaf style. Descriptions of each species are in Japanese and English. All of the species are illustrated with several photographs consistng of the whole view and the distinctive morphological features, mostly by optical microscopy.
