Zoological Record

Zoological Record was first published in 1864 by the Zoological Society of London and the British Museum. It is the authoritative and most comprehensive source of zoological information. Approximately 6000 international journals, review annuals, monographs, meeting proceedings, books and reports are reviewed representing research in all areas of zoology.
Each annual volume comprises 27 separately issued sections. Of these, 25 deal with different animal groups, one with general zoological literature and one lists the new taxonomic names indexed in other sections. Within each section there are 5 indexes: Author, Subject, Geographical, Palaeontological and Systematic.
