Ecotone Series 1000 Mist Net (16mm Mesh)

This Ecotone Mist Net has a mesh size of 16 x 16mm and is made from nylon (110 denier/2 ply). It is suitable for small passerines, as well as night catching of storm petrels.

This nylon mist net is thin and very effective, yet stronger and more durable than Series 700 mist nets. This makes it ideal for long-term work; after 500 days of continuous field exposure, they are as strong and black as new ones. The net is equipped with wind block lines and colour marked loops. Available in a variety of lengths (3, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18m), each net is 2.5m high and has 5 shelves.
