BirdLife International is the international conservation organization working to protect the world’s birds and their habitats. Founded in 1922 under its original name of the International Council for Bird Preservation (ICBP), it is a global conservation federation with a worldwide network of Partner organizations, Representatives and committed individuals. The BirdLife Partnership is active in over 100 countries worldwide. BirdLife International publishes a wide range of bird conservation titles, all of which are distributed by NHBS.
