Station Biologique de la TOUR DU VALAT Arles, Camargue, FRANCE Established in 1954 by Luc Hoffman, Tour du Valat is an independent, non-profit making foundation. Based in the middle of the Camargue National Park, it is a research centre for the study and conservation of Mediterranean wetlands, working with organisations such as CNRS, IWRB, WWF, IUCN, Ramsar and UNEP.
