Series informationThe Species Status Assessment project assigns conservation status to our flora and fauna using the internationally-approved IUCN Red Data Book criteria and categories. These reviews are published in a new series entitles Species Status. Some reviews will include detailed data sheets, giving biological and other information relevant for conserving each species (for example, the Diptera reviews, Species Status numbers 2 and 3), while others will list the new conservation status assigned to each species, with supporting reasons and evidence for these judgements. Forthcoming volumes in this series will be added to this page as soon as we
become aware of them.
