This standard phytoplankton net has a mesh size of 53 micron for sampling algae and protozoa. The frame is 25cm in diameter and the net is 50cm long.
The net is made from nylon precision mesh and has a screw on filter (of 53 micron) at the end.
The net is suitable for towing behind a boat or from a suitable bank, beach or jetty. It is supplied with a 7m long towing line and harness.
