This standard zooplankton net has a mesh size of 250 micron, 25cm frame diameter and 50cm long net. A 250 micron net will retain small animals such
as crustaceans whilst allowing most algae and protozoa to pass through. The net is made from nylon precision mesh and has a screw on filter (of 250
microns) at the end.
The net is suitable for towing behind a boat or from a suitable bank, beach or jetty. The net is supplied with a 7m long towing line and harness.
