The present paper is the result of a study on a collection of Pteromalidae deposited in the Bohart Museum of Entomology, University of California, Davis, USA. The collections are mainly of Sri Lanka, India and some South East Asian Countries. The present account is an addition to the taxonomic knowledge on Pteromalidae of Indian Subcontinent and South East Asia.
This paper deals with 38 genera of Pteromalidae (30 genera with 43 identified species (including six new species) and 7 with species are not identified). The genera are grouped under different subfamilies and subfamilial classification. The species studied are arranged in the alphabetical order.
