About this book

With its 16 magnificent colour plates, The Geometrid Moths of Europe, Volume 4 will open a new era in the study of the European species of Perizomini and Eupitheciini. A total of 151 species are dealt with in this volume of which 133 are Eupitheciini; all these species are shown at 1.5 times natural size on the colour plates This volume is actually a revision of the European fauna, describing one new species, introducing about 10 species not recorded from Europe before and synonymizing other species. The Geometrid Moths of Europe, Volume 4 has detailed distribution maps and very detailed genital drawings for males and females of all species and it sets new standards in the study of the European Eupitheciini and Perizomini.
