About this book

The Verrall-Collin collection of some 30,000 specimens of two-winged flies was presented to the Hope Entomological Collections of the Oxford University Museum in 1967. Within the collection are 550 fly species which were described by Verrall and Collin for the first time. This book provides a detailed catalogue of all these species, and is prefaced by associated biographical and historical information.
