Title information![]() The Ant Genus Proceratium in the Extant and Fossil Record (Hymenoptera: Formicidae)Series: MONOGRAFIE DI MUSEO REGIONALE DI SCIENZE NATURALI, TORINO 36 Edited by C Baroni Urbani and ML de Andrade
480 pages, figs.Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali
In the present work the authors revise the ant genus Proceratium and propose its first, partially resolved, species level phylogeny including near all species, extinct and fossil. Only a recent Vietnamese species described from a single, presumably lost species is excluded from the analysis. Photographs obtained by merging together the sharpest parts of different individual photographs illustrate all fossil species. SEM micrographs are extensively used for the descriptions of Recent species. related organisations include: Beehoo.com If you are involved in a scientific, conservation or environmental organisation and would like to be listed, please see our NHBS-Xchange information page. |
