An area of great natural beauty, the North Norfolk Coast has long been famous for its birding sites. Snettisham and Titchwell Marsh are two of the RSPB's most visited reserves; Blakeney Point and Wells Woods are famous for their rarities; the Holkham National Reserve is one of the largest in the United Kingdom; Holme-next-the-Sea has the only accredited bird observatory in the county; and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Cley Marshes is the equal of any.

Although it has some striking footage of birds, this film is not a species identification guide; rather, its focus is on places, practicalities and possibilities. What really is the best time to visit Snettisham? How is Titchwell being protected from coastal erosion? Where are the car parks? Can I do without a car? (Yes!).
