It covers all aspects of field identification, using illustrations from the highly acclaimed Handbook of Bird Identification to show all common plumage forms. Peter Holden was formerly the head of the junior arm of the RSPB. He is the author of several bird books aimed at younger birders and beginners. Tim Cleeves also works for the RSPB and is the co-author of Birds New to Britain.
