The Fourth Asian Forum (FAFF) was held from 16-20 Oct 1995 in Beijing, China. Oral papers and posters were presents, of which 181 are contained in the Proceedings of the FAFF. Some not included were either withdrawn (for technical reasons or to be published in the Asian Fisheries Science Journal) or were rejected as a result of the review process. The present Proceedings Committee took in topics ranging from aquaculfure, capture fisheries, disease, ecology, genetics, biotechnology, fish biology, nutrition, post-harvest technology, socioeconomic, fish resources, management and conservation of aquatic biodiversity to so as to reflect the various research being carried out in the Asian region.
