Mackie the Dolphin is eleven years old and he lives in Moray Firth, a large stretch of the sea off the coast of Scotland. He lives there with his family. His mother Dilys, his father Dougal and his annoying seven year old sister, Daisy. Mackie has two best friends, Sammy Seal and Ollie Octopus. The three of them are a gang and Mackie is the leader. They all attend St. Neptunes School but to day is the start of the summer holidays.
