About this book

Tabin Wildlife Reserve is situated in the eastern part of Sabah, in the middle of the Dent Peninsula. The aim of the Tabin Scientific Expedition and Inventory 1998 was to document the flora and fauna of Tabin with the goal of supporting its conservation. The expedition was carried out for a total period of one month, during 12-24 February 1998 and 14-25 March 1998. About 50 scientists from six organizations participated covering a wide range of research from the physical environment to flora and fauna. This report summarizes the findings of the expedition.
