About this book

This report is based on the results obtained from the "Large Carnivores Conservation Areas in Europe" project which was developed by the Isituto di Ecologia Applicata (IEA) of Rome on behalf of the Large Carnivore initiative for Europe and with funding provided by WWF International. The project was aimed at developing environmental suitability models for the bear, lynx and wolf in the Alpine Range and identifying sensitive areas and connecting corridors.
