Biography

SHAHRUKH RAFI KHAN is executive director at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute, Islamabad, Pakistan (SDPI). His published works include Do World Bank and IMF Policies Work? (Macmillan, London, 1999). The CONTRIBUTORS are researchers based in Pakistan, the USA, Switzerland and elsewhere. They include Dr Tariq Banuri, founder of the SDPI and co-editor of Who Will Save the Forests? (Zed Books, 1993).
