Nearly all endemic and many native and introduced birds of the `endangered species capital of the world' are portrayed on this DVD. This DVD includes 46 taxa of native and 23 introduced bird species of which some are filmed for the first time.

Filmed on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii; great footage of species such as Laysan Albatross, Tropicbirds, Boobies, Hawaiian Goose, Hawaiian Hawk, Noddy's, Terns, Elepaio's and an amazing fourteen species of Hawaiian Honeycreepers. These include the very rare Maui Parrotbill, Akiapolaau, Akikiki and Akohekohe among more common species such as Apapane, several Amakihi's and stunning footage of brilliantly coloured Iiwi's.
