Western Australia is one of the richest flora regions of the World having a species list of over 13 000 vascular plants. Originally the first edition dealt with just the south west region, now it covers the whole State. Guide to the Wildflowers of Western Australia is divided into three main sections. The first gives an over view of the plant world of Australia. The second is basically a 'Where to find Wildflowers' in Western Australia. Finally the largest section illustrates over 1 150 species, locating them in the botanical regions in which they can occur. This is not a definitive book by any means but it is a very popular and user friendly guide.
