Biography

Michael Pritchard was born in England, and currently lives in Holland. Before his retirement he was a journalist and sportfishing consultant and he has authored, edited and co-authored 16 books on sportfishing and species recognition, including Collins Encyclopedia of Fishing. As a director, camerman and author he has been involved in the making of twelve documentaries about fishing around the world. He currently teaches ceramics in an arts centre. His hobbies include the Natural History of fish and aquatic mammals, sportfishing, and each year he travels to the Atlantic coast of Ireland.
