About this book

Internationally-respected water colourist David Bellamy was born and brought up in Pembrokeshire, but this is his first book on the area. It features over 100 colour illustrations, including 75 water colour paintings. This sumptuous book features some of David's favourite places in his native county, with three chapters on Pembrokeshire's beautiful coast, including its famous islands, and three on the less-visited and almost unknown inland areas, such as the Daugleddau Estuary and the Presceli Hills - source of Stonehenge's bluestones. The author's text reflects his love of Pembrokeshire and his special interest in wild places, whether they be on the coast or inland.
