Introductory chapters explore the taxonomy, genetic diversity, habitats, and epidemiological analysis of campylobacters. Other chapters review Campylobacter plasmid biology, antimicrobial resistance, stress response, motility, chemotaxis, metabolism and bioenergetics of C.jejuni, and polysaccharide biosynthesis (including lipooligosaccharide, capsule biosynthesis, and protein glycosylation).
