Customer Reviews:

Fantastic book
by Luke in the United Kingdom (04/09/2011)

The feel and appearance of this book are a pleasure from the start – it is packed with beautiful underwater photography. It is well laid out and full of useful information, and an excellent introductory guide to the marine life of the area.

Although not it's primary purpose, I have found it more useful practically than marine taxonomy books – because it (mostly) avoids unnatural plain white photograph borders, so the eye can balance colours just as it would underwater. Also there are more comparison photographs per page, and it concentrates on the main species.

If that wasn't enough, this book is a real bargain.
