About this book

Language: German

This book about the caddisflies of Greece is the result of 24 research trips by the author to Greece in the years 1971-1999 and of the study of many additional specimens given by fellow workers. The sparse earlier literature is included. The main purpose of my research was the study of ecology and zoogeography of running waters under the climatic conditions of the Mediterranean Region.

The main part of the book includes all data of caddisflies from Greece known to the author. The distribution of all species is figured in maps, and for many of them phenological diagrams are presented. The reference list includes the author's publications on Greek caddisflies and papers by other authors.
