It explains how to build planning support systems to assess conditions, evaluate policy choices, create visions, and compare scenarios.

'Incomparable' is the only way to describe the fifth edition of this classic text. My fourth edition is worn from a decade of constant use, and I thought there was no way to make Urban Land Use Planning any better, but the fifth edition proves me wrong. It is not merely the best book on the subject; it is, as far as I am concerned, the only book.
