About this book

Globally, we are consuming resources at a faster rate than the planet can replenish them, causing problems such as disappearing forests, declining fisheries and climate change. People in developed countries need to find ways of reducing their ecological footprint, while developing countries need to continue enabling growth, but in a sustainable way, that has the advantage of avoiding the problems now being experienced in the developed world.

One Planet Living tries to provide solutions that are attractive and affordable to a diverse range of peoples and cultures. It aims to address key human needs such as housing, clothing, food, healthcare, education, energy, transport and leisure.
